Matt Makarczyk is the owner of Texas Bee Services.  After spending over 30 years in the tech industry, Matt decided to follow his passion of protecting Texas bees by rescuing feral bee colonies and promoting natural, treatment free beekeeping.  

In addition to his several dozen bee colonies, Matt cares for an assortment of other animals including alpacas, guardian dogs, barn cats, chickens, and guinea fowl.  He is dedicated to the holistic and ethical management of everyone under his care.  He manages all his bee colonies sustainably without the use of any synthetic treatments that are damaging to the  colonies, the environment and the larger ecosystem.

Matt is a member of the Williamson County Beekeeping Association and Texas Beekeepers Association and is currently obtaining his Master Beekeeper Certification with the University of Florida.
